Kurkure Bhindi a.k.a crispy fried okra!
I remember my childhood mom always gave me lady’s finger (okra) before my maths exam so that it helps one boost memory🤓-don’t know how far it is true! But I definitely never used to like it as it was always made into stir fry.
I’ve tried making this previously but never succeeded. But then I recently stumbled upon this recipe in @shaanthram ‘s page (pls chk her page for some yummy veg recipes 😍) and tried it out- which became a hit at home and was asked to make it second time again today!
This is my version of her recipe.
To chopped/split okra add besan flour, rice flour, chilly powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, salt, garam masala (I added whatever was in shelf🤣) add yoghurt for binding it. Mix well with hands 🤗 Heat oil and and deep fry it in batches. Once fried you may use tissue to absorb excess oil. Toss a bit of chat masala for extra tanginess.
