We had a last minute, decide, call and book for a 2pm sitting, whilst still on the beach at 1:15pm, kind of fine dining lunch, today. It's the kind of lunch you can have, when holidaying in the gastronomic capital of southwest WA, with the best of the best all within a 30km radius, which, lets face it is nothing for a #wheatbelt
family who doesn't even blink an eyelid at driving 50km for a carton of milk....AND...we are still patting ourselves on the back for choosing @aravinaestate who are clearly at the top of their game, in seasonal, fine food. We tried hard to find fault with the food, but when dishes such as this entree serve of Exmouth prawns, charred corn, avocado purée, buttermilk & toasted tortilla, are brought to the table, with just the right number of flavour elements that sing harmoniously with each joyous mouthful, it's almost impossible. We did think the raspberry purée under the citrus tart could be a tad more zingy, but that's just being knitpicky.
It's also a rare treat when the super cheery waitstaff, wine and picture perfect location just finish off the experience so impeccably. Thanks Aravina! It's no wonder your dining room was packed!
